Brain Stations

 In Mystery Marks the students were asked to describe 

what they see. 

 Thinking Links were related sentences. "Think about the color of a cloud, write that color. Think about something that color that is soft." 

 In this station students are asked to write about things they use that do something...

"you squeeze", "has a handle".

 "TIME TO EAT" asked students to  name things they eat that have different qualities.

The purpose of this activity was to help the students develop thinking skills. I hold the process of thinking in high esteem so I wanted students to think in different ways. All children can be taught to think more imaginatively, and flexibly. Take a look at what they did.
