A Wild Neighborhood or a Habitat is a place where plants and animals get all their needs to survive such as food, water, shelter and space for having and raising babies.

Animals that could be found in the Wildlife Sanctuary include: fish, osprey, turtle, alligator, water lily, water snake, cat-tails, water bugs, algae, owls, bobcat, raccoon, maggots, woodpecker, deer, mud dauber, yellow bellied sap sucker, gopher tortoise, bobcat, frogs, lizards and many many more.
The UNF Wildlife Sanctuary has many different habitats.

Each habitat is home to certain plants and animals.

UNF use to be an area that was used for cutting timber.
